Sidewalks. Do they add value? Whose responsibility are sidewalks?
September 29th, 2009 categories: About Me?, Bexley, Clintonville, For Home Buyers, German Village, Olde Towne East, Short North
I’ve found that sidewalks tend to be a value added feature for buyers looking at Columbus Homes for sale. Most of my buyers buy homes inside of I-270 and most of my buyers prefer to have sidewalks for ease of travel when walking around the neighborhood, for a safe place to meet and greet neighbors, [...]

Buyers? Buyers? Anyone? Anyone?
September 24th, 2009 categories: About Me?, Celebrity Real Estate, For Home Buyers, Real Estate News

Since my wife is from Chicago and its become a special town for me and Ferris Bueller’s Day Off is such an iconic film from my impressionable youth [...]

This home is Trashed…and Unusual Columbus area Homes
September 4th, 2009 categories: Real Estate News
Not trashed so much as simply made of trash. Today’s New York Times has an article about a Texas man who builds homes from discarded materials…the ultimate green home. Better yet, he sells them to low income housing recipients at reasonable prices. This got me thinking about unusual homes in and around Columbus. Off the [...]

September 1st, 2009 categories: Columbus News, For Home Buyers, For Home Sellers
I’ve got to admit, many in and around Columbus are simply used to thinking the worst about Columbus City Schools. For no particular reason, other than habit, it’s often assumed that the Columbus City School district has nothing to offer. In many parts of town I know that is simply not true. Columbus City Schools [...]
