For years I’ve said that this is the longest light in Columbus. It’s a busy, popular intersection and many people who live in Clintonville have to go through it at least a couple times a week. Clintonville’s easy access from I-71 or 315 is a great selling point to potential Clintonville Home Buyers, but this light is rough. To top it all off, that Kroger at the intersection is dry.
Talk of a true turn lane and road widening at the intersection has surfaced and residents are hesitant to approve such a thing for fear of an East/West Northbroadway widening up and down the street. But, as one Commissioner was quoted as saying, no one wants to turn Northbroadway into Morse Rd.

thanks to everyone who set me straight on the Krogers. The tide is slowly turning Chad! and now, Pace-High is looking better and better and the shelves are stocked since the newish owners took over. It doesn’t have the same vibe but it’s progress.

In Nov 2008, voters in precints up & down Clintonville’s High St approved all issues regarding alcohol sales.
krogers at North Broadway began stocking alcohol before Christmas and is still in remodeling to make room fro the top 500 alcolholic items.
