I’m very excited that the new Central Ohio MLS from the Columbus Board of Realtors goes live tomorrow. We Realtors have been toying with it for weeks now, trying to get used to a new look and feel. The test driving that I’ve been doing has been flawed by too many features that weren’t yet ready for prime time so I’ve found myself using the old version more often than not.
As of tomorrow morning at 10AM the new Columbus MLS goes live and the 18,068 active homes all miraculously switch to the new system. You’ll see better reporting of statistics here on Columbus Homes Blog because I’ll better pinpoint the areas I’m searching and I’ll enjoy a plethora of behind the scenes updates that’ll make my work in the Columbus MLS that much easier to accomplish.
If I have set up a home search web site for you, don’t worry. I’m told all your favorites and possibilities will stay in place. If you haven’t set up a home search web site, tell me what you’re looking for and I’ll set one up for you — It’s the only way to search.

Good luck with tomorrow. Let me know how it goes. We were at the Tempo Users Group meeting last week and MLSs from across the country are very excited about the new features and functionality of the system.
