March Madness - Let the Selling Begin in the Columbus Real Estate Market

Since about the second week of the year I have been talking about how the market is on an upswing. Over the last couple weeks, buyers seem to be coming out of the woodwork and sellers everywhere seem ready to prepare their home for the market.  In the last two weeks I have had an offer on a listed property, met 2 new buyers, had a closing, taken two buyers in contract, talked to two new soon-to-be-sellers and received a few emails from other would-be buyers.

Since everyone seems surprised when I tell them the Columbus Real Estate market is alive and well, I’m always on the lookout for outside sources that validate my own pace of business.  Our local Coldwell Banker office is (I think) the biggest brokerage in town in terms of agents and they’ve been so kind as to send out this graph showing it’s not just me, the Columbus Real Estate Market is ready to take off.  Over 2,000 showings last week.  Not bad.  If you’re thinking of putting your Columbus area home on the market, that’s more than 2,000 reasons not to wait too long.
