Call me. I can set up an appointment to see any house for sale in Central Ohio. I am always surprised how many would-be buyers do call the realtor on the sign. It makes sense — you want to see that house, that agent is selling the house, you call that agent.
That agent also represents the seller. Hmmm. Think on that for a minute. Do want to work with the Realtor who represents the seller to buy the seller’s home Probably not.
It’s perfectly legal in the State of Ohio to represent both the seller and the buyer if you’re a Realtor. In my book though, it’s definitely not a preferable situation. I can’t do both and do both parties justice. Not really, not completely. Either can any other agent, though many will tell you differently because, well — who doesn’t want to double their income
So call me. We’ll look at that house and as many others as it takes to find YOUR house. I’ll represent your best interests. You know what else It doesn’t cost you a thing. I’m free. I get paid from the proceeds of the sale of the house, not from you.

Coming from a fellow Realtor. I agree with you. The very first thing a buyer should do to protect them self in a real estate transaction is find a buyers agent. Do not buy from the listing agent – their job is to protect the sellers interest. Buyers agent will have your interest at heart, make sure you pay the right price, get you an inspection, and just organize every aspect of the deal for free!
