Hello. My name is Joe Peffer and, aside from being a great Columbus Realtor, I am a fantasy baseball enthusiast. It’s true and I’m not ashamed of it. The Dingers are competitive year in and year out, with some first place divisional titles and one league title. Today, however, they’re entering the weekend behind by 82 pts in the League Championship Series, unfamiliar territory for this year’s batch of over-achievers.
It’s been a good year though. Since the April 2 draft, The Dingers have been battling it out with the Gashouse Gorillas for supremacy in the Wahoo League. Sometimes lucky, sometimes good, The Dingers had an uncanny string of 11 wins in a row, spanning more than two months. What’ll I do if they lose this weekend and I’m not in next week’s world series Just wait till next year, I guess.
Besides, the Ice Weasels are already 1–0 in fantasy football. Good Grief.
