Or at least pretend you threw it away while you’re looking for your new home.
Your current furniture simply can’t be THE deciding factor in the search for your new home. Your family room furniture is modern so you can’t look at a traditional home If you keep this mindset, you miss out on much of the active market and, quite possibly, a home you’d really like.
That said, your funiture reflects your personality and, quite likely, the taste you may have in your next home. I’m just asking you to think outside the box and explore all your options so your next home is one you’re completely happy with.
Disregard the size of your bedroom furniture or at least think about it in a different way–maybe you won’t miss the 2nd night stand or you can put the armoire in the family room now that you have a walk-in closet. Be creative and look at new homes as though you have no furniture baggage. You’ll be glad you did.
